How often do you “tell” others what to do? How does “telling” serve you and those you live and work with? Would you like to be intentional in the words and phrases you use when communicating with others? Are you aware that when you tell someone what do, without their permission, they will resist you? If there was a way you can use the skill of “Asking Questions” to create elegant, exquisite and irresistible relationships and outcomes, would you want to know about it?

In Gordon Staples’ Asking Questions workshop, he will challenge your speaking habits and show you an alternate way to speak with others. Asking questions is a skill that is seldom taught. Yet it can be the key to eliminating conflict and to creating teamwork, collaboration and loving relationships. You will learn 8 types of questions and when to use them. And you will find out how a common question and often-used words create conflict. If you have never thought about how and when you use questions, come prepared to be challenged and learn a skill that could change your life.

Trained as an engineer, mediator and coach, with an MBA somewhere along the way, today Gordon Staples is a Leadership and Team Coach/Consultant. In his corporate life he spent 30 years in Canada and the US in roles ranging from “on the road” as a Sales Rep to the Executive Suite. His clients benefit from Gordon’s corporate experience and insights and his unique coaching and facilitation skills. He is seldom presented with a situation he has not personally experienced.
